Disclaimer

Last updated: July 3, 2026

Please read this disclaimer carefully. Psalmara is a devotional and Bible study support tool. The following limitations apply to all content generated or provided through this app.

AI Limitations

Psalmara uses artificial intelligence (AI) to generate devotionals, study plans, reflections, and prayer prompts, and to suggest which Bible references may be relevant. Bible verse text itself is never written by AI — it is always quoted verbatim from public-domain translations. AI language models still have significant limitations:

  • AI may suggest a reference that doesn't fit the context or point to the wrong book, chapter, or verse. (Any reference the app can't match to a real verse in a public-domain translation is dropped, so you never see AI-invented verse text.)
  • AI may misrepresent or oversimplify theological context, historical background, or denominational interpretation.
  • AI-generated content is not divinely inspired and should never be treated as equivalent to Scripture itself.
  • Responses may reflect biases present in AI training data rather than sound theological scholarship.

Always verify Bible references by reading them directly in your own Bible or a trusted Bible app (e.g., YouVersion, Bible Gateway).

Not a Replacement for Professional Care

Psalmara is designed for personal devotional reflection and spiritual encouragement only. It is not a substitute for:

  • Pastoral care and spiritual direction: Please consult your pastor, priest, minister, or spiritual director for guidance on significant matters of faith, life decisions, or theological questions.
  • Professional counseling or mental health support: If you are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, crisis, or any other mental health concern, please seek help from a licensed mental health professional. In the US, you can reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.
  • Medical advice or treatment: Nothing in this app constitutes medical advice. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider for medical concerns.
  • Legal advice: Content generated by this app is not legal advice. Consult a qualified attorney for legal matters.
  • Financial advice: No content in this app constitutes financial or investment advice. Consult a certified financial advisor for financial decisions.

Bible Reference Accuracy

All Bible verse text shown in Psalmara is quoted directly from public-domain translations (such as the KJV, WEB, ASV, or YLT) — it is never generated or paraphrased by AI. When a devotional or study plan cites a verse, the app looks up the verbatim text by reference. If a suggested reference can't be matched to a real verse, only the reference is shown (or it is omitted) — never invented text.

Because AI chooses which reference to surface, a citation may occasionally be a poor fit for the surrounding reflection. We recommend opening each reference in the built-in Bible reader (or your own Bible) to read it in full context before sharing, teaching, or making decisions based on it.

Content Safety

Psalmara includes content safety filters designed to keep AI-generated content appropriate for faith-based study. However, no filter is perfect. If you encounter content that seems inappropriate, offensive, or theologically problematic, please report it using the “Report issue” button on that response.

Our content is intended to be broadly Christian and interdenominational. We acknowledge that theological interpretations vary across traditions, and responses may not always align with every user's doctrinal perspective.

How to Report Issues

If you encounter any of the following, please let us know:

  • Incorrect or fabricated Bible references
  • Theologically inaccurate or misleading content
  • Offensive, harmful, or inappropriate AI responses
  • Technical errors or bugs

You can report issues using the “Report issue” button available on AI response cards within the app, or by emailing us at support@psalmara.com.

By using Psalmara, you acknowledge and accept the limitations described in this disclaimer.
